1. What did you do in 2010 that you’d never done before?

I cut out milk., wheat, and processed sugar for about two months.  I started to feel really well and then I got pregnant, sick as a dog the first 5 months and all that went out the window since I was basically living off of pb and honey sandwiches.  (which I would like to add bitterly, all my fav foods i.e. salads, quinoa, almond butter, avocados..I have had HUGE food aversions this whole pregnancy. seriously. wtf?!)

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I don’t do resolutions.  I find them foolish and useless for myself.  I am more likely to fail and then get in a funk.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Nope. Lots knocked up though.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

My grandmother, Wanda Betty.  I miss her so much, and hate that she is going to miss on all the new babies in the family next year.  She was such a beautiful spirit.  I miss her calling me Dolly.  So much, so much.

5. What countries did you visit?

I got my passport this past Autumn so I went to the U.S. again for the first time in a year or so to visit my sister.  I really don’t like doing border crossings. >.<

9. What was your biggest failure?

Saying unkind things.  Hurting my partner with my words and actions.  Holding on to things I should of let go.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

No.  Aside from a very rough 1st and first half of my 2nd Trimester.  I was pretty OK this year.

My Buttercup.  Taylor sings it to the baby and it always makes it wake up and start grooving around.

15. Compared to this time last year, are you:

– happier or sadder? To me happy is more of a fleeting emotion.  So I would say today, I am happier than yesterday.  But consistently I am more joyful then I was last year.  Definitely.

– thinner or fatter?  Pregnant.  Actually considering the compliments I’ve been getting, in terms of looking better or worse, I look better at this time now then last year.  Even pregnant.

– richer or poorer? We are out of debt so I suppose richer in that sense.  Same amount of cash flow though.

16. What do you wish you’d done more of?

Letting go.  Journaling about this pregnancy, since this may very well be the only one I experience.

Trying to control things.  Getting upset and frustrated over things.  Losing it.

18. How did you spend Christmas?

That I am responsible for my reactions, attitude and perception of a situation.  Which of course, I knew that. But still. It has really sunk in.
